MEET CONNIE
Leál was created by Connie Leal Ballenger in 1993. She was inspired to create a shop with an inviting atmosphere that is not only comfortable, but where women can get together to play with outfits and catch up with the locals.
After more than a decade in management consulting for a large accounting firm, she followed her heart to start her own fashion business in the city she adores. She is a busy wife and mother in addition to running Leal, and embodies precisely the active woman Leál was built for. A boutique built on the philosophy of having a pleasant and personalized shopping experience for the "woman on the go", who doesn’t want to sacrifice looking her best. Connie is truly one of a kind; a remarkable entrepreneur, a friend, and the go-to fashion stylist in Columbus.
